We help Gram Panchayats turn the Sustainable Development Goals into local plans, and connect them with government, industry and citizens to deliver.
Gram Sansad is a social platform to co-create and recognise evidence-based roadmaps that implement the thematic SDG goals, and to design policy solutions that strengthen collaboration among rural stakeholders.
Our overarching objective is to improve rural synergy in strategic business and policy decisions, and to improve collaboration between government and rural institutions through a multi-actor approach.
By combining local knowledge with scientific expertise in a co-creation process, Gram Sansad engages actors and stakeholders at every level. Together we identify problems and set up evidence-based business roadmaps and policy solutions focused on economic growth, development planning and environmental protection.
Gram Sansad is an initiative of the Random Variable Foundation, with its head office in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
