Gram Sansad helps a Panchayat adopt a development plan built around one LSDG theme, and equips its elected representatives and functionaries to deliver it through participatory local planning.
Each programme strengthens a Panchayat’s ability to plan, act and measure progress on its chosen theme.
1प्रशिक्षण
We help Gram Panchayats carry out exemplary practices for their chosen theme through convergent action. Gram Sansad demonstrates innovative models, shares strategies and approaches, and builds specialised collaborations so that theme implementation becomes routine.
2अनुभव यात्राएँ
Village representatives see the good practices other Gram Panchayats have adopted. Our skill-transfer workshops give Panchayats a platform for peer learning on models that make LSDGs part of everyday work at the grassroots.
3सम्मान
Gram Sansad ranks Panchayats on their performance under each of the 9 LSDG themes. The ranking assesses progress on the SDGs, builds healthy competition, and speeds up the work of Panchayati Raj Institutions towards the targets set by the government.

We work closely with rural communities to build innovative, sustainable livelihood models. Instead of a narrow focus, we tackle problems from several sides at once by linking every part of the livelihood value chain.

As development practitioners we work to close the gap between government schemes and the grassroots. To make our interventions count, we first learn the ground reality through a household baseline survey.
